Our Rooms

Make yourself at home in the perfect setting

Ingleside offers six uniquely appointed guest bedrooms, each named after the beautiful views they overlook. Choose from our two Premiére rooms, three doubles, or our comfortable twin room—all of which feature private ensuite bathrooms.

On the ground floor, you’ll find our welcoming guest lounge, dining room, and cloakroom.

Every room is stocked with a thoughtful selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate, as well as fresh milk, chilled water and biscuits. For your comfort and convenience, rooms also include a TV, hairdryer, fan, and local guides to help you explore the area.

While we are not a licensed premises, we are more than happy to provide the glassware and openers you need to enjoy your favourite tipple in your room, the lounge, or outside on the sunny patio.

On the first floor

Lynton View

This is one of our Première Rooms, with a private balcony and great views.

The double room is a generous size and has two easy armchairs where you can sit to enjoy the panoramic views to the south of Lynton, Countisbury, Foreland Point and Sinai Hill. It has its own bespoke balcony on which you can enjoy the views and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Lyn Valley View

This is our second Première Room, situated at the front of Ingleside which also features as our family room.

The room is light and spacious with two easy armchairs, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

We can sleep up to one extra person in this room and it has become popular with parents with small children. It has magnificent views of Lynton, Watersmeet, Sinai Hill and from here you can often spot the deer on Summerhouse Hill.

Countisbury Hill

This is the first room on the first floor and it has a generous ensuite with a bath and an overhead shower. Perfect to relax into after a long walk on the coastal path.

The room itself affords views looking down towards Watersmeet Valley and Countisbury Hill. It has one easy chair.

On the second floor

Ingleside is a characterful Victorian building and as such, we would like you to be aware that our second floor rooms have traditional roof beams and some sloping ceilings, which may affect height in places.

Summerhouse Hill

Summerhouse Hill is a south facing double room at the front of the house and views out to Lynton, Watersmeet Valley and Summerhouse Hill. (Try to spot the deer!)

The room has recently been redecorated and the bathroom has an ensuite shower.

Honeypot Cottage

Honeypot Cottage is our only twin room and is situated to the rear of the property. It is a generous size with an easy chair and has an ensuite shower.

It is a generously proportioned room with a view looking out over Hollerday Hill and Honeypot Cottage.

Foreland Point

This is a recently redecorated double room, with super views looking east towards Foreland Point and Countisbury Hill.

In the distance you get a glimpse of the sea and the beach at Sillery Sands. The room itself has an ensuite bath, a double bed and an easy chair.
